In this section, I will give you some tips on finding the right bidet shower for your butt.
Picking the right bum gun will make sure that you actually get some use out of it. When you settle on the best choice for you and your needs then you are more likely to use it than if you get one that you’re not thrilled about.
Ergonomics
There are different shapes and sizes when it comes to handheld bidet sprayers. And how it fits in your hand will make a big difference. Ones that are ergonomically designed are best as they usually feature an easy grip and are angled to make sure that you spray it where you actually intend for the jet spray to go.
Others are just trying to look modern or stylish may be harder to use effectively. Look for a rounded handle that looks easy to grip with the button to turn it on easily pressed by using your thumb.

Though I prefer the ergonomic style of the Advanced, this could be your pick simply because of the dual spray options. You can set it for a wide spray that covers more area and has a gentle feel, or set it to jet stream which is a more concentrated stream to knock off any stubborn bits.
The look and feel are a bit different so you have to work on the angle more yourself than rely on the design to be in the right position. But the button to spray it is very easy to press, which is nice.
The materials used are very durable and long lasting. The inside of the hose is woven carbon fiber so it is built to last and not get tangled.
The only downside is the lack of ability to control the water pressure.

A great runner up for best handheld bidet sprayer is the Aqua Nexis.unfortunately, it doesn’t have the pressure adjuster knob like the SonTiy so you do have to be careful about pressing the lever too hard if you want a light and gentle spray. However, if you do press it all the way, it doesn’t spray too hard. In fact, because of this it is not as ideal for using it as a cloth diaper washer.
To wash your butt, though, it is fantastic. The grip of the wand is very comfortable and ergonomic so you can get it at the right angle. Since the hose is tangle free, you can maneuver it around very easily so you know you can get it where you want it.
The nozzle also features a great spray jet that is both gentle and yet gets stuck on poop with ease. You’ll get a very deep clean from this bum washer.

Handheld bidet vs seat bidet
Admittedly, the hand held bidet sprayers are not for everybody. They are good for those on a budget and when you want to have a hose to spray down cloth diapers and clean the toilet bowl.
Some people would rather have an easier system that is just as effective.
In this case, you’ll want a bidet attachment that goes under the seat or an actual bidet seat. Of course, the ultimate is a toilet bidet combo but those are out of most people’s budgets compared to a bum gun.
You have a mostly hands free experience using a bidet seat and the electric versions offer a wide variety of features that you don’t get with a bidet shower.
Which is better? I would go with a bidet seat, but a bidet sprayer works well and is cheaper to buy and has no maintenance to take care of.
